Religion kills free speech

Once again, religious criticism has been silenced because even the slightest suggestion that they might be wrong is enough to offend the delicate sensibilities of Christians. What obscene blasphemy was so terrible it warranted censorship?

That’s it. Three. Simple. Words.

HOW DARE ANYONE ASK US TO QUESTION STUFF AND THINK FOR OURSELVES?!

Where did these evil words come from? Surely they must be the words of the Antichrist or Satan himself?

Despite their faith in their teachings and the absolute power of their God to control the universe, they feel threatened by chocolate sculptures and billboard advertisements. A strong belief system should value skepticism because it tests one’s faith, which leads to stronger faith when that belief is verifiable as the truth. Only false prophets, teaching a weak faith, fear the questioning of that faith, because they know they might be wrong.

What’s sad is that that was one of the softer slogans in the atheist arsenal. If they thought that was bad, they’d hate the slogan I recently came up with:

“God Is Imaginary. Get Over It.”
