Yeah, I don’t think Arthur C. Clark would have liked that title either. But apparently, 14 members of the House of Representatives are pushing for a bill to officially make 2010 the year of the Bible. Guess which political party all 14 supporting this bill, H.Con.Res.121, belong to. I bet you can.
Fortunately, the other party, which happens to dominate our government right now, isn’t likely to support this silly measure. But this still makes for an excellent occasion to expose the hypocrasy of those promoting it.
