NJ religious leaders stand up for marriage equality

You know, I give the religious a lot of shit on this blog. But when they actually do good, I’m more than happy to compliment them on it, especially if its in my home state of New Jersey. Apparently, 120 clergy members from 19 faiths and denominations sent a joint statemet to state government officials calling for marriage equality to be voted on in the current legislative session. Good job guys. I’m glad to see it isn’t always the atheists and/or members of the LGBT community who have to fight these battles.
