This suggests that contrary to what many religious insist, this is not just a brief post-9/11 trend. On the contrary, the religiously unaffiliated have been on the rise for some time now. It’s only now that they’re coming out in numbers that demand attention.
3. Belgium the first nation to ban the burqa – In a unanimous vote, Belgium approved a law that would effectively ban the burqa or any clothing that covers the entire face in public. This is complicated issue and even I’m not entirely sure where I stand on it.
